It is a pleasure to welcome you - past and present friends, staff, parents, and students- to the 40th anniversary celebration of the French Immersion Program of Montgomery County Public Schools.

Forty-one years ago the program began at four Corners E.S., and, since then, it has grown and prospered.  There are now two schools in MCPS that have French immersion programs at the elementary level, and two that have French immersion programs at the intermediate level. Our program has also been the model and inspiration for immersion across the USA.

We are glad that you can be with us  as we acknowledge and applaud the hard work and success of the past 40 years, as we celebrate the exciting present, and as we look forward with anticipation and eagerness to the future.
